OUR MISSION
At Collaborative Insight, we recognize that people come to therapy for differing reasons and at various points during their lives. We believe that there is power in vulnerability, and we acknowledge that you have taken a significant step in being here with us. We take a humanistic and nonjudgmental approach in working with all of our clients; it is not our goal to change you, but to help you develop an understanding of the ways you would like to change. We truly appreciate your considering us to be a part of this collaborative process, and we look forward to supporting you in any way that we can.
At Collaborative Insight we offer effective outpatient services that include individuals (children, adolescents, and adults), relationships, and family therapy. Our experienced clinicians offer an eclectic, and collaborative approach utilizing a variety of evidence based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Insight Oriented Psychotherapy, and Trauma-Informed Modalities.
A form of talk therapy in which you challenge beliefs, assumptions and thought patterns, ultimately building new ways of thinking. With CBT, it is often found that changing the way we think leads to changing the way we feel.
A short-term, goal-focused therapeutic approach that allows you to create a meaningful vision for change. SFBT provides solutions for present and future circumstances and goals, rather than focusing on problems.
A therapy approach that brings awareness to the impact of trauma on one's lived experience. By placing an emphasis on building trust and establishing a setting of safety, understanding and confronting traumatic experiences can begin.
A therapy and counseling approach centered on therapist-patient rapport that supports you in finding motivation to make a change that is consistent with your values and concerns.
A form of therapy that assists you in identifying and understanding how your past influences current thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Insight Oriented Psychotherapy ultimately allows you to build a deeper understanding of yourself.
An approach that focuses on mitigating harmful patterns and behaviors. Harm reduction may be best known for its efficacy with substance abuse, though it can be used in a variety of contexts.
The first step in therapy is talking. Let's find a time where we can talk about what's on your mind.
